Community Goals

   I'd like the spread of this novel to be something that generates kindness across the world. One small act at a time. I hope to receive emails of what fans chose to do in their communities. For example if someone planted a tree, A selfie of them with the tree and a description of the experience would be awesome. Not only would I see evidence of this gift economy model in action, it would bring to my awareness the varieties of ways in which grassroots movements are helping people.

  Eventually, I'd like to make a limited print fan appreciation edition to auction for charity, One that features fan-created art and short stories written from new points of view. Since it is an anthology series, this could easily be done so long as it matches cannon. This is why the character Brit is mentioned several times with little information, because I want another person to write her story. I think this process of different creators who like the story, coming together for a charity project would be really, really cool. So if you are inspired to create fanart, and would like it to be a part of this idea please send me a pic of what you create.

 

 

Selfish Goals

   I will, of course, be advertising the book myself to find more readers who would enjoy it. But I want for people to make known their enjoyment of the book. To share a link to the trailer on your website, or post quotes that resonate with them on social media. To review it. To display images from the promotional materials tab so this book can reach more people. The fact is, conventional advertising is very expensive and as a nobody indie author, I'll need help to reach more people.

   A playful thing I'd like for fans to do, is to scavenger hunt for references within the book. It alludes to Dracula, The Diary of Anne Frank, Final Fantasy 7, FLCL, and several more (but mainly the four listed). If this idea interests you, please keep a tally and enjoy.

   If this book can passively generate $300 a month in donations, that would be remarkable in terms of remotely making money while I travel. It would ease a good deal of financial stress.

   I have put well over three thousand hours and immeasurable passion into this project, I ask your help in spreading this gift to more people who may enjoy what I have to offer. The following are suggestions in what you can do to help support this dream.
